Business Concept
In the business conceptual phase of the project, factors such as market research, setting business objectives, technical considerations, financial planning, and legal and regulatory confirmation are taken into account to lay the foundation for the factory construction project.
CM Plus assists clients in technical considerations and legal and regulatory confirmations, helping them make informed decisions.
Conceptual Design
In the conceptual design phase, important elements include clarifying the needs and objectives for factory construction, site suitability surveys, conceptual design considerations, budget estimates, and legal and regulatory investigations. By establishing a solid plan at this stage, the direction and basic design of the factory construction project can be determined, leading to smooth execution.
Basic Design
In the basic design phase, the design standards are established, equipment layouts are constructed, equipment specifications are determined, architectural designs are considered, and the budget is scrutinized. This phase involves deciding the specific design details of the factory construction project.
Procurement
The procurement phase for construction companies is a critical stage where estimates for the construction work are received from various construction companies, and the optimal proposal is selected. This phase includes the process from requesting quotations to selecting a construction company, receiving and evaluating the quotations, and negotiating and finalizing the contract. Choosing the appropriate construction company and establishing a good contractual relationship are essential for the success of the factory construction project.
Detailed Design / Production Management
In the detailed design and production management phase, specific design details for buildings and equipment are determined, equipment specifications are finalized, quality control plans are formulated, safety measures are considered, and cost management and scheduling are conducted. Through these activities, the concrete details of the construction work are decided. Proper detailed design can be expected to ensure smooth progress of the construction and improve the final quality of the factory.
Construction
In the construction phase, various processes of the factory construction, from ground investigation, foundation work, steel frame assembly, exterior and interior work, equipment installation, to safety and quality management, proceed smoothly, ensuring the final quality and adherence to the project timeline. Since the work on the construction site is carried out with the cooperation of various specialists, efficient communication and teamwork, as well as overall coordination and management, are crucial.
Trial Operation
The trial operation phase is the final adjustment stage conducted after the completion of the construction phase and before the factory begins actual operation. During this phase, equipment functionality tests, production line operation checks, safety inspections, efficiency and quality evaluations, operator training, and final adjustments are carried out. These activities ensure that the factory is prepared to operate safely and efficiently. After completing this phase, the factory can transition to official operation and commence the production activities planned during the design phase.
Operation
- ※PQ/PPQ (PV) is handled through our GMP Platform services.
- ※This is just one example. We can accommodate various workflows.
Our Services – Roles and Responsibilities
This is a typical roles and responsibilities chart for projects in Japan. CM Plus acts as an intermediary between the client and construction or production facility contractors, managing them from the client’s perspective to ensure successful project execution.
