Signed a Strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
CM Plus and Memsift Innovations Pte Ltd (“Memsift”), a Singapore-based developer of advanced membrane and thermodynamic separation technologies, today announced the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to accelerate the deployment of next-generation circular water infrastructure solutions across Japan and Southeast Asia.

From left: Mr. Yoshiyuki Inoue, Senior Consultant of CM Plus, Dr. J Antony Prince, CEO of Memsift Innovations, Mr. Tsunehiro Togashi, MD & Group CEO of CM Plus; and Mr. Chris O’Connor, CFO/COO of Memsift Innovations
The collaboration combines CM Plus’ extensive engineering, project management, validation, and operational expertise with Memsift’s proprietary HEXAGON™ Technology Platform to support industries seeking sustainable solutions for water reuse, ultra-pure water production, resource recovery, and wastewater minimization.
As manufacturers face increasing pressure from water scarcity, environmental regulations, sustainability commitments, and rising operational costs, both companies believe that industrial wastewater must evolve from a disposal challenge into a strategic source of water, materials, and value.
BUILDING THE FUTURE OF CIRCULAR MANUFACTURING
The partnership is founded on a shared vision that the future of advanced manufacturing will depend on the ability to manage water, energy, and resources as an integrated system rather than as independent utilities.
At the center of the collaboration is Memsift’s HEXAGON™ Technology Platform, an integrated circular water infrastructure architecture designed to enable industries to:
• Recover and recycle water back into manufacturing operations
• Produce ultra-pure water for critical pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and high-tech manufacturing applications
• Recover valuable chemicals, salts, solvents, and strategic raw materials from industrial liquid waste streams
• Minimize wastewater discharge and support Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) objectives
• Improve water security, operational resilience, and sustainability performance
By integrating water recovery, purification, concentration, and resource recovery into a single infrastructure platform, HEXAGON™ enables manufacturers to move closer to a truly closed-loop operating model where waste streams become valuable resource streams.
ACCELERATING INDUSTRIAL DECARBONIZATION AND RESOURCE EFFICIENCY
The collaboration will initially focus on opportunities within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, semiconductor, specialty chemical, battery materials, and advanced manufacturing sectors throughout Japan and Southeast Asia.
Together, the companies will identify, develop, and implement pilot projects and commercial deployments that demonstrate how circular water infrastructure can reduce freshwater consumption, lower carbon emissions, recover valuable resources, and improve overall manufacturing sustainability.
LEADERSHIP PERSPECTIVES
Dr. J. Antony Prince, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Memsift Innovations, said:
“Industrial wastewater should no longer be viewed as a disposal problem. It is a resource opportunity. Through our HEXAGON™ Technology Platform, Memsift has developed what we believe is the operating system for circular water infrastructure-an integrated technology architecture that enables industries to close the water loop, produce ultra-pure water, recover valuable resources, and move toward true circular manufacturing.
By combining Memsift’s technology innovation with CM Plus’ engineering excellence and strong industry presence, we are creating a pathway for manufacturers across Japan and Southeast Asia to build more resilient, resource-efficient, and sustainable operations. Together, we aim to transform how industries think about water-from a utility that is consumed and discarded to a strategic asset that can be continuously recovered, purified, and reused.”
Mr. Tsunehiro Togashi, Managing Director & Group CEO of CM Plus Singapore, commented:
“As industries continue their transition toward sustainable and resilient manufacturing, the demand for integrated water and resource management solutions is growing rapidly. Memsift’s HEXAGON™ Technology Platform offers a compelling approach to addressing these challenges by combining water reuse, purification, and resource recovery within a single infrastructure framework. Through this partnership, we look forward to leveraging our engineering and project delivery expertise to help customers implement practical and scalable circular water solutions throughout the region.”
CREATING THE NEXT GENERATION OF WATER INFRASTRUCTURE
The partnership reflects a broader transformation occurring across global manufacturing, where water is increasingly recognized as a strategic resource rather than a consumable utility.
By combining world-class engineering and project management capabilities with advanced technology innovation, CM Plus and Memsift aim to support customers in building more resilient, resource-efficient, and sustainable industrial operations while advancing regional and global sustainability goals.
