Due to declining gas field production, increasing city gas demand, and expanded power plant operations, Indonesia is currently facing a serious shortage in pipeline gas supply as domestic demand exceeds supply. To make up for the shortfall, LNG regasified gas has been introduced; however, its price has been rising, and in early 2025, a sudden price hike was implemented, causing a severe impact on the industrial sector.

Future price trends remain uncertain, and as long as supply constraints persist, high-price phases are expected to occur intermittently.

Under these circumstances, reducing gas costs has become a top priority for the manufacturing industry. Believing that presenting concrete cost-reduction measures is an urgent need for companies operating in industrial estates, we have organized the seminar “Energy Efficiency: Practical Solutions to Reduce Gas Costs.”
